Technical Foundation & Hands-On Training

A complete, session-by-session progression from anatomical fundamentals to advanced biomechanics and clinical protocols.

Day 1

Core Concepts & Anatomical Mastery

Session 1 — Introduction to Skeletal Anchorage in Orthodontics
Theory and hands-on workshop: definition, classification and design characteristics.
Session 2 — Anatomical Considerations & Placement Sites
Intra- vs. extra-alveolar systems. Zygomatic buttress, infrazygomatic crest, mandibular symphysis (new site), retromolar area, hard palate, mandibular buccal shelf.
Session 3 — Fundamentals of Skeletal Anchorage
Biological and mechanical concepts of bone–implant interaction, primary and secondary stability.
Day 2

Advanced Biomechanics & Clinical Protocols

Session 4 — Biomechanics of Extra-Alveolar Anchorage
3D-planning, vector orientation, Class II/III management, open bite correction, impacted teeth, molar uprighting, hybrid protocols with clear aligners.
Session 5 — Placement Technique & Clinical Protocols
Universal placement protocols, sterilization, anesthesia, screw dimensions, insertion torque, immediate vs. delayed loading.
Session 6 — MARPE
Mini Screw-Assisted Rapid Palatal Expansion: indications, planning, insertion, activation and CBCT analysis.
